  Good scenes. Good moments. Robert Pattinson is incredible. But the movie never really figures itself out. I think it forgot what it was about midway through. Could’ve been great. If only.

  I wanted to like it more, but I desperately needed it to be more “show, don't tell.” What could have been an interesting, emotional, fun story was watered down by being so “told, not shown.” I also felt let down by the execution of its point. For what the story’s message was, Barbie certainly spent a lot of time soothing Ken. I just felt like it was confused in how to show its story. For me it felt dull, despite its vibrant colorful world, and overall a miss for me.
