Gosford Park 2001
Pretty fun murder sort of mystery but not really a mystery because no one seems to care about the murder. Almost every character gets a little arc and have a lot of personality despite the fact that I could not remember any names. Great cast, pretty funny too.

Grindhouse 2007
Fun genre piece. Planet Terror isn't anything to write home about, but Death Proof I liked quite a bit. The way the stakes were flipped halfway through was very cathartic and possibly the most salient statement Tarantino has made on violence as entertainment, definitely a way more effective use case than the end of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, that's for sure.

This is a really weird movie, very unique in a sense - it's the kind of film you can only make with 25 years of weird movie industry baggage.
