Some of the highest highs and lowest lows of the year. Damien Chazelle shows off some filmmaking wizardry about 10-12 times and gets so weird the whole cinema races for the door at least thrice. No rating but a perfect half could possibly sum this movie up.

Just rewatched this movie and my God... it got even better. From Oscar Isaac's domineering performance as the brilliant but deeply troubled tech guru Nathan to the convoluted whirlwind of a plot there is not a boring second in this film. Truly terrifying commentary on humanity as a whole and on the direction of big tech companies like Google might take us.
