Mufasa: The Lion King 2024
Animation actually had some feeling this time around, but the story is forgettable. I really dig “I always wanted a brother” but what on earth were they thinking with “bye bye”?? Why’d they do my boy Mads like that?

Llamageddon 2015
Definitely a college film project, with all that implies. The dialogue and acting are awful. It’s too self aware to compare to some of my other “so bad it’s good” faves, but it DOES have a real llama in it that shoots friggin laser beams out of its eyes so I still had a good time.

Backdraft 2 2019
I’m glad I watched the first Backdraft before this because it is a direct sequel and there be spoilers. Other than that, this focuses more on the mystery aspect that took a back seat in the original, and it actually does not help. It’s convoluted and quite dull. Very generic.
