"The Climb" is a unique film exploring ups and downs, ins and outs of friendship, love, and relationships in a fresh way that really grows on you. The chemistry between the leads makes both the humor and the drama beats land. There is a nice balance of the familiar with the original to hold your interest the whole way through.
What works so well are the long shots (about 7-10 minutes long each) used to tell the story. Really impressive.…
