Concert films are challenging to get right, and David Byrne has somehow made two of the best ever. "American Utopia" is so good because it is not "Stop Making Sense" and is just a best-of album for the Talking Heads. This is David's vision for what art and music should be, and it doesn't dwell on fancy design or technical perfection.
