Ratings are subjective but mostly align with how good I think the film is objectively
Theres too many "serious bits" (not really serious just large 'dramatic' bits without any jokes i guess) when the film is funniest when its as absurdist as possible. Even then its not thaaaat funny. A certain type of person would definetly love this but for me its just kinda fine

On the one hand i do like that this being in two parts means we get a lot of time just spent on developing the characters in the first half but man idk. That bit where the doctor thinks wilf is dead and has a serious reaction to his death, but then it turns out hes alive was a bit awkward feeling, seemed like a nice tribute to his actor that was played for laughs, even though it was never meant for that. Plus some real cringe in there, that bit at the end with donna and rose holding hands just made me think about how awkward it must have been to see the filming of it as one of those soldiers. Still 10x better than the past few seasons though
