I enjoyed this but the final third dragged for me and I may have slightly dozed off for the ending…
The film looks great and I really liked the editing, not sure about the structure though. Technically the film is amazing, and some scenes were class, like dinner with Ruffalo’s character (Didn’t like Mark Ruffalo’s character at all). Great performance from Robert Pattinson and I really liked Mickey’s character. The film is absurd and silly and blunt and some parts were really funny. I don’t think I vibed with it narratively, tonally or even thematically but I still liked it.
I have wanted to watch this for ages and I’m glad I did. I am not a usual fan of grotesque body horror but I enjoyed this. After viewing, and sitting and thinking, I can say I do like what this film had to say but not always how it was said.

I loved this. The POV style of filming pulled me in instantly. It took me a second a adapt but from then on, I didn’t even really want to blink. A film combusting with beautiful sequences, gorgeous cinematography, where every frame told a story. I admire the unique POV style filming technique, it is creative and offers a third party type experience of the story, a different way of feeling the emotions. I struggled sometimes keeping up with every step…
This is how you make a sequel to a beloved rom com series. Had the audience laughing, crying and drooling. What a film
