Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009
Oozing style and charm Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox remains as one of his greatest works. Wes perfectly blends his characters with his signature quirkiness while still making them feel grounded. The dialogue in particular stands out, feeling both quippy and energetic. Fantastic Mr. Fox has the heart that at times Wes has struggled to achieve in his other projects. As Mr. Fox and co dance to 'Let Her Dance' by the Bobby Fuller Four in a grocery store, and the credits begin to role, you come to a realization: Wes is bes.
