    God damn this is a lot of fun! The first true screwball comedy since the golden age of the 30s and 40s. You can really feel the love and deep understanding Bogdanovich has for movies with this one. Evidence that all that time he spent with masters like Hawks, Ford and Welles really rubbed off on him in the best way possible! Looking forward to revisiting this one again as a double feature with ‘Bringing up Baby’.
