I wish this movie cared about its characters more, and had something interesting to say about desire, obsession, and class. But nope, it left me pretty cold. This movie is like a high budget amateur film: not bad - it has interesting ideas - but alas. A few critiques:

Last Night in Soho 2021
Edgar Wright doesn't miss! I get why people like it less than his other movies, but this was hella hypnotic! Romanticizing nostalgia is definitely a theme that hits home for me. And the dance scene with all the mirrors was so good! Halfway through my brother turned to me and said "I love this movie!" and it was cool seeing him that happy.
Only complaint would be the ending doesn't resolve it all as ambiguously and cleverly as the movie deserves, but that's fine by me. I'd still take it over The World's End (which I enjoyed). Also, the Kinks are awesome.Translated from by
