First of all, fuck Israel.
Sure the animation, art direction and soundtrack was good but that doesn't make up for being complicit in a massacre actually. It's a little tiny bit anti-war if you squint but it does not acknowledge the actual victims in any meaningful way. The film also depicts the Israeli soldiers as bystanders in the massacres at Sabra and Shatila, even though they were there, knew about it, heard it and prevented anyone from leaving the camps.…
