  Definitely the superior entry in the Sex Dreams Love trilogy, mainly due to strong performances from the (all female!) leads. I still believe that Haugerud has a voice problem, in that the majority of his characters express themselves in very similar tones and cadences. This isn’t helped by the English translation which omits a lot of the sentence padding each character has (“in a way” “sort of” “kinda”) which I find intrinsic to the casual straight forwardness of Norwegian as…

  A few good scenes, but overall under baked and stuck in the shadow of recent Scandi hits like Sick of Myself and The Worst Person in the World.
  BUT imagine this double billed with Shiva Baby? I'd have like 10 consecutive panic attacks.

  Some fantastic dialogue and nuanced moments from Wright, but overall quite disjointed. The family drama aspect feels cliché and the tone swings wayyy too much from cutting remarks to [insert heartwarming moment where old people flirt in an adorable manner which reminds our cynical protagonist of his habit of shutting others out].
