Pina was a true genius and I feel ashamed that I am only getting to know her art. True emotions, expressed with movement, touching stories told by bodies and subtly captured by camera of Wenders.
It fascinates me how Pina’s ideas and her dances are still alive (not just repeated, but relived) by her dancers. She appears to be very observant due to details of her works and words of dancers.
Pure theatre. In the best possible way!

It is crazy how this film captures the inner world filled with pain and suffering. And even though the story is told through bright and visually stunning fairy tale, you can still feel the tragedy of a main character… or even both of them.
It was a while since I cried that hard and that honest over a film. But there were good tears that make you feel better.
