Mickey 17 2025
Fun movie, but not the movie I was hoping it to be. Really cool concept that’s executed well, but I think the movie falls a little flat in the final act. I don’t know, can’t put my finger on why I didn’t like this more.
That being said, Robert Pattinson is one of the most exciting actors right now and I’m so glad he’s on my Oscars team!

Oz Perkins knew he wanted to make a movie to film elaborate, gory, and hilarious over-the-top kills and I respect the hell out of him for it. An awesome and unconventional follow-up to Longlegs, one in which he’s clearly just relishing in its dark humor that comes with every scene. Who knew we would be getting two Final Destination movies this year?
Narratively, it’s very simple (it’s based on a short story after all), but horror fans will enjoy it. If the last act of the movie was as good as the first two, this would probably be an even higher score. Elijah Wood hive rise up!!!
