It was immediately evident why this is considered to be the worst of the franchise. It’s riddled with bad acting, abysmal CGI (did they forget that practical effects are allowed?), and lazy writing. Seriously, what were they thinking with these boring and unlikable characters? I felt nothing for them.
That being said, a few of the kills were actually pretty creative. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that this movie was clearly only made for the purpose of being a 3D movie. After about the third premonition of a CG snake or cigarette coming right at the screen, I could only laugh.
