  As the time clock on the intermission winds down, the American Dream become the American Nightmare.

  Was Lazlo Toth a great man? Does it matter? By the epilogue, he's hardly a man at all, he's a footnote. Toth seemingly redefined the West's architectural consciousness yet his magnum opus bares the name of the man who abused him physically and systemically.

  He gets wheeled around the tacky, coy honorarium to his career unable to speak for himself, and unable to stand…

  Is this movie essentially a school project that a bunch of guys made bcos they got really high one night a thought they should be film stars. Yes. Is it a tonally inconsistent, at times structurally unsound and a little confusing. Also yes.

  But there are so many movies in the word with no passion in them, placid uninspired movies that no one really wants to sign their name to and end up falling by the wayside, and this is not one of those.

  It’s charming, it’s cheap, and sometimes, boys just wanna have fun
