About:
Yuichi Ishii plays himself, the head of a company that hires out “stand-ins”, or rather actors posing as relatives, friends, colleagues, and other roles in people’s real lives. The film is drama, but the company is real; the scenes are re-enactments, or at least fictional versions of possible assignments, and the actors who would play the stand-ins perform instead for Herzog’s camera.
Thoughts:At just under an hour and a half this film is definitely worth a watch if…
