  WHOA!!!
  this movie is extremely tense and honestly terrifying. 
  the cinematography and sound design were so effective and painful!!! in some scenes, the ambience was louder than the dialogue and i loved that shit. tons of slow zooms and super wide shots... every single shot was thoughtful and anxiety inducing. 
  julianne moore does an incredible job portraying a woman slowly losing her mind —and being convinced her mind is being lost —without really saying anything. 
  reminded me a lot of d lynch and yorgos, particularly “the killing of a sacred deer” 
  huge recommend if you enjoy thoughtfully shot, glacially slow, psychological thrillers
