This kind of film is right up my street in the Starship Troopers/Fifth Element. Big budget absurd sci Fi satire that's also very funny. The anticapitalist satire is so extreme and on the nose yet I don't think it hits the mark in the way Parasite so cleverly did. The performances are great, Ruffalos Trump/Elvis hybrid and his dynamic with Colette was so repellent yet couldn't take my eyes off it. The plot seemed to lose its way a little bit towards the end and I felt more could have been made of the ethics of Expendables but all in all loved the goofy space comedy.

The Quiet Man 1952
Been so aggressively orangepilled against motonormativity that when I watch a film like this set in a bucolic pre-mass car ownership age, 90% of the time all I'm thinking is
cars fucking suck.
The tandem bike equals freedom.
Yeats got it
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.
