Masturbatory nostalgia bait. With all of the praise it’s received it left me thinking that the emperor has no clothes and people want to feel bright for understanding art. I’ll concede that clearly it seems to resonate with people on some experiential level but so do ASMR videos on YouTube. Actually I feel like maybe people are so pleased with this excrement because they are somehow transported back in time to their childhood in some regressive anal phase of development when watching it
