Phenomenal film and a hell of an intense experience. The intensity doesn't just come from the body horror aspect, which is understandably being discussed a lot. I'm a horror fan who is pretty desensitised to body horror so while I enjoyed that aspect, it didn't mess with my head that much.
It is the execution of the themes of ageism, body dysmorphia, sexism, loneliness, etc. that pushes this twisted horror into the realm of tragedy.
