  What did I just endure? I’m not sure how to rate this movie. I have never wanted a movie to end this bad but I also wanted to keep being dragged on this tortuous journey. I will say, at one point, with around 3 mins left, I had enough. I left my seat and watched the rest standing at the theatre door so I can storm back to my car and storm to the comfort of my own bed.

  I walked out of the theatre feeling like Defoe. Im now a madman. I can’t believe I sat through this.

  This just feels out of touch. Though I appreciate the attention brought to the situation, I don’t think it was an accurate depiction of the diamond conflict in Africa. It played into many tropes and didn’t pull any strings for me.
