The anxiety and comedy and dread of every brutal interaction really builds something special while a slow surreality leads you down a path to a dark place. Amazing performances across the board. A denser and deeper All My Friends Hate Me.

The Cursed 2021
Solid and grisly 1800s period horror. Top notch costumes, sets, and location shooting. Some great practical effects mixed with some lesser, but not terrible, computer effects. There’s a blood soaked good time to be had here. Saw it at Sundance 2021.
