Why wouldn’t you just… use drones? The clones are so unnecessary? AND why would you give the clones notions of romance, loyalty to their species, AND an inspiring memory? These aliens deserve to be blown up.
This script keeps forgetting itself. The dog scene should have already been clear indicators for scavs. Constant dreams about your wife and you don’t remember her? Why would the aliens even give you that option????
It finds redemption in striking visuals and score.

Metropolis is the first German film I have ever seen, and I was floored. The visuals remain unrivaled even by modern CGI almost a hundred years later, and the twisting plot could have been written anytime the last few centuries. With the score completely…
