Solid dialogue.
Took a while to trust yorgos due to previous obvious “mehs”. The lobster and the killing of the sacred deer are incredibly disappointing.
But the favourite wasn’t an anomaly. The dialogue did not make me want gouge my eyes out.
Mark ruffalo and Emma stone to their credit made humour I usually find cringe actually funny. And carried a story verging on repetitive.
There’s a lot of this film I dislike on paper and the quirk was endearing. But saying the word cunt is not a joke in itself.
