Thelma 2024
Such a beautifully heartwarming story. Sometimes these stories can come across as cheesy, but this one balanced the painful and scary process of getting older with satirical touches that had me tearing up and then immediately cracking a smile. June’s take on Thelma reminded me so much of my grandma in ways I’m sure most people will relate to. Her dynamic with Fred in the grandmother/grandson relationship was a joy to watch. I’ll definitely see this again.
