  Small bites : 

  So much to love about this film which more than makes up for the parts that drag a bit later in the film. 

  Some really funny lines in here that really landed for me. 

  Cinematography, blocking, production design, and performances are all so stellar. 

  Lily Rose is simply perfect in every second of her screen time.

  Zoe Saldana and Karla Gascon are the heart and soul of this film. 

  KG does an incredible job of portraying a tortured Narco Kingpin wanting to live as her truest self…She brings it in every scene. 

  Felt the story itself could’ve worked well without the musicality of it, but appreciate the bold swing it took…

  - emotionally disconnected 
  - melodrama is maxed out
  - underdeveloped / incomplete storylines 

  The list goes on and on….

  From a technical level….its cool? But don’t expect much else from this missed opportunity of a film.

  Killers of the Flower Moon 2023

  Nothing but excellence across all the crafts and performances.

  Production Design spares no expense to really put us in this time and place and the editing really keeps this from stalling out. 

  Marty and Eric Roth approached this story thoughtfully and collaboratively with the community it involves, while also asking the audience to realize that we shouldn’t walk away from these tragedies treating it as simply entertainment.

  An honor to watch this with Martin Scorsese @ the DGA theater 🤯
