Little unsure of how to score properly as my eyes and ears were covered 20% of the time. Not for the faint of heart that’s for sure.
Mary Grace’s review: “This is why I don’t fuck with banks”
Genuinely, I’m blown away.
Loved this movie as a kid and decided on a whim to watch this morning and ???? This isn’t even a question of if it “holds up” mf this is a masterpiece that has aged like wine (unlike Dennis Quaid).
Every role cast so perfectly, pacing is phenomenal, sets are inch perfect, score is undeniable. Only minor minor flaw are some script choices imo but they make up for it with some other jokes.
Went to look at why it wasn’t even nominated for anything just to see the list of 1998 releases. Hot damn what a year.
Pretty fun, but not sure it’s super rewatchable.
This had every brand of man that Mary Grace is into so I’m docking it half a star for the number of gasps she had for Taron, Jason, and Sinqua.*
