This movie will probably benefit from a few more rewatches, but this really didn’t do anything for me. Despite all its strengths, it feels super derivative and I wasn’t all that engaged.

Like at some points it’s like laugh out loud so bad it’s funny, but a lot of the scenes really drag on and it’s not scary in the slightest. And I wish I could give the actors more credit (except the lil girl she was awful) but the script was so awful they couldn’t make their acting work. It’s also a convoluted ass story, the villain sucks and is revealed like wayyy too late into the movie.…
