Wears its inspiration on its sleeve. Tons of shots in here from all three of the LOTR movies, and a lot of shots from Nausicaä, mononoke, game of thrones and mad max. All unneeded. It’s also animated kind of like that Lupin the third movie with the dude with the axe.
The costume design sucks, so does the dialogue, and its usage of place and setting don’t make a lot of sense at times (and neither do the story beats).…
