Not gonna go on and on about myself this time around, but lemme just say that this is really good and I've got a lot of things I wanna start cookin'. Hard not to take stock of your own life after watching this!
All slashers should have settings as cool as Tech-Noir. Fun stuff.
This is a slasher film. You cannot convince me otherwise. It's a very colorful, delightful, magical, and dazzling film that understands the beauty of cinema and the moving image and uses that knowledge to create an imaginative journey.
That doesn't mean it's not a slasher film.
Absolutely bonkers in every way. I think this movie swings for the absolute FENCES, missing more of the pitches than it hits, but I can't help but admire the hell out of it for trying. It's radically different than nearly anything in the series and it feels so fresh.
