Basically it’s a what if taxi driver was set in early 2000s suburbia instead of 1970s New York, and tipped its hand more that the main character is a delusional loser, and had dick jokes. Seth Rogen actually does a great job playing Ronnie, a mall cop with violent fantasies of saving the world for his own glory, and winning over Brandi, the perfume saleswoman he creepily obsesses over during work. Even Dwarfs Started Small 1970
This movie captures what true artistic and cinematic freedom is. Filmed in what seems to be an abandoned town in the middle of nowhere which gives in a quaintness to balance out its absurdity. With a cast entirely played by dwarfs its hard not to be transported to the insane world Herzog creates. This movie should be mandatory viewing for anyone who likes transgressive art.
