  Not to be that person, but the book is much better. I guess it could be argued, but in terms of the ending there is no contest. In the movie it’s all about the girl and their relationship and this whole “ohh let’s be weird together and let me continually hurt you but it’s okay because we’re both fucked up” boring garbage. It’s an insult to the book honestly, I’ve never seen a bigger injustice in terms of adaptations. Whereas…
