  They should have ended the franchise long before this sequel. 

  No sequel/prequel will ever reach the original film's quality with all its goosebumps moments. The Red Door definitely had some frightening scenes and effective jump scares, but that’s already it.   It’s Barbenheimer week and I started with the more easily digestible one, I guess.

  I only had clues in what direction this movie might go. And since I don’t like the works of Greta Gerwig very much, I was kind of sceptical. But finally Gerwig made something that I thoroughly enjoyed. The movie is wild, funny, and pure entertainment. The scenes in Barbieland offer a great and well-made scenery which seems to have required some effort by the set designers.…

  I‘ve got a soft heart for movies like The Founder, King Richard or The Big Short. Movies about determined people who saw a chance, took it and achieved great success. Ben Affleck's Air perfectly joins this genre. I barely care about Basketball or the NBA and something that I even care less about are Basketball shoes but this movie managed to render this reservations futile. I was rooting for the whole Nike team and had so much fun watching them being experts in their field.
