  Where is the color. Why were the uniforms so ugly. Why was it so HD that I could see the glue on Ariana’s lashes. Most importantly, why are they gonna make me go through all this again next year

  I’m disinclined to like anything with Chloe Sevigny, but this was thorough enjoyable. Disco soundtrack, dialogue absolutely dripping with satire, 80’s outfits filtered through 90’s indie-cool aesthetic. Would watch again.

  Had never seen this movie before, and that probably is the biggest issue. At this point, I couldn’t look past Al Pacino’s casting, nor his ridiculous mouth-acting. Michelle Pfeiffer is about as interesting as a saltine cracker dressed in a glittery gown. If you tell me this is your favorite movie, I will end the conversation right there.

  About 30-45 minutes too long, but beautifully shot and acted. Especially enjoyed the set decoration and the sound (I hesitate to call it music). Beautifully subtle ending that reveals Jane Campion’s directorial acumen.
