If you are hardcore cricket fan who has followed murali's cricket journey that this will feel a little underwhelming but if you are just trying to watch a film with little to no knowledge of cricket then it might intrest you...

  • Animal

    Animal

    ★★

Even if you keep aside the problematic things... Just from a technical points it's an under written ,under edited & over directed mess. Shock value apart from the opening act is just for the heck of it.
Screenplay meanders all over the place & even if you look past those things. Characters feel like cardboard cutouts who can only have shouting matches instead of genuine conversation.expected better from director of Arjun Reddy, which was at least believable

  • Sing Street

    Sing Street

    ★★★★★

Sing Street is a John Carney's third film as a director and have to say he completely knocked it out of the park. Among his filmography which contains gem such as ONCE & Begin Again what helps Sing street surpass is it's earnest performances which helps to elevate its familiar beats. This has everything you could hope for in a good musical..feel-good factor(check) unflinching optimism(check), charming cast and catchy tunes(Double check) .
By the end of the movie you will have your fist pumping in air and let's face it that doesn't happen in movies that often. For that reason alone it deserves a shout out.
