Absolute childhood favourite and still an all time Disney classic. Beautifully animated and a great mix of realistic social issues and fantastic other world elements.
As a child I always thought of Stitch as just some creature but with this rewatch I realised how deep his character actually is. His motives are clear and intentional and he genuinely learns and changes over time brilliantly done.

Much more in line with Bong's usual English language features, this takes a great premise and explores some of the more interesting facets of it with great characters.
Definitely by the third act it started to feel a bit more formulaic and whilst all the plot threads were tied up it seemed to rush some of it or just say yeah now that's over. Still a great time and Pattinson especially was fantastic.Translated from by

Weird in ways I didn't expect and constantly kept me feeling uneasy which is what makes Cronenberg films so great.
Not quite so balls to the wall full on horror but trippy and full of suspense nonetheless. Could have done more with the body horror, or had more to say about class, but still a strange and entertaining two hours.
