I feel like Bong-Joon Ho really wanted to make a mashup of all of his films with this one. It was all over the place and hard to get into.
I don't know why, other that Robert Paterson, it feels like all of the actors were given little to no direction. The acting was so strange and I don't think it was intentional. Except for Robert, of course, he was amazing!
I don't have the cultural context/background to feel the full impact of this story. But I still think this was really well made. I was really into the story for the first hour.
