  First of all this movie is incredibly entertaining. It is very funny, more intentionally than it will get credit for, but I also think it’s no problem to laugh at the absurdity of this object. The free market delivers us tested, focus-group and audience approved product. And while that’s generally good, it isn’t often surprising. This movie exists as true art does, a singular vision conveying unexpected emotion, technique, and message. And yeah, it‘s ridiculous, egotistical, and deliriously incoherent. But…
