  Not enough Robert Pattinson group sex but plenty of lovecraftian space guinea pigs! The movie was best when it focused on those: when it tried to convince you that the slapstick human villains were scary it was goofy.

  Even without knowing how out of control Bill Murray was behind the scenes of this movie, you can tell. His performance is very off, the tone of the whole movie lurches around along with his mood swings, there is no chemistry at all between him and the rest of the cast... This is kind of accidentally "method" though for portraying a character that is meant to be unlikable, and it makes his final monologue cathartic as he talks to the cast and crew of the movie-within-the-movie but is ACTUALLY addressing the bewildered cast and crew of Scrooged.
