  It’s the Taika I or maybe we fell in love with. The Taika that treats movies as if he’s still making it with his friends and his parents old camera. This film reminded me a lot about Hunt for the Wilderpeople in terms of story, charm and cinematography. There’s a somewhat subtle comedy to this film that doesn’t get shoved down your throat.
