  I’m so late to the party on this. Holy shit Brendan Fraser. This has to be one of the most gut-wrenching films I’ve seen in a while. So unpleasant to watch but you find yourself relating to Charlie’s self-pity, Ellie’s anger, Thomas’ delulu way of finding inner peace, Mary’s roundabout forgiveness, and Liz’s frustration with watching someone you love give up.
  Heartbreaking. Wesley and I were both sobbing like babies

  My review for Napoleon Dynamite has nothing to do with critiquing the effectiveness of the movie, but everything to do with the amount of joy it brings me. It’s so simple, it’s so dumb, it’s so nostalgic that looking at it through a lens of criticism is just so not the point. 
  This movie is an absolute anomaly and I wish we made more movies like this. It’s not incredibly fascinating or introspective but it’s just awesome to revel in…
