One of the Pope’s greatest pieces of trash & a cinematic tour de force. This one still gets mucho praise and all the laughs today. Ricki Lake was a cute chunk. Totally forgot that L7 were in this! Gas Chamber is a snazzy tune.

Low budget extreme arthouse horror film that’s not for everyone. I know, that’s putting it lightly, as it’s undoubtedly for a select few. Call it pretentious trash or call it genius. This has got to be one of the most depressing flicks I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. A graphic portrayal of human suffering and despair. The body horror/erotic nature is kind of reminiscent of Cronenberg. The realistic special effects, camera work and dark tone of the film is stunning, but it’s the story that is perhaps the most intriguing.
