Surreal and visually striking, I don’t think this is a film that any real analysis can do justice..Weird enough that it feels beyond analysis.

The Name of the Rose 1986
Not sure what this was missing for it not to be a 5 star for me, between the visuals, cast, and themes this felt like a film that should be in my list of favorites, but for some reason something about it didn’t work for me like I thought it would.
