  Sleek. Funny. Cheeky. Classy. 
  A bit up its own ass, and yet 
  SO tight. 90 minute movies are truly a gift. 
  Both Cate and Michael have annoyed me a bit lately but they are both quite wonderful in this tight little puzzle box of Brit spycraft. Some of the supporting cast don’t quite rise to the level of Cate & Michael but that feels of a piece with the thematics of this particular film, lolz

  Good shit. Excited to see more Sam Esmail cinema. I hope he keeps it up. He’s got style for days. Script is smart, it takes a great book and doesn’t ruin it, which is a relief. The book had a really beautiful and strange ambiguity and the movie seems to want to answer more questions than is necessary… anyway it’s a solid film beginning to end, I just wanted… something else. Not completely satisfying. But very well done.

  Gorgeous film 
  Maybe i can’t be entirely objective, being that so much of this film spoke to me on a personal level. 
  Being the exact same age as the director, with a lot of the same context, the gay thing, the screenwriting thing, some of the death stuff. 
  Anyway it was so up my street it was basically pandering to me, but in the best way. 
  Need to sit with it for awhile but it is a stunning piece of magical realism. 
  Haigh is definitely a virtuoso of this particular art form and i can only hope to one day achieve what he has.
