  Hilarious (perfection, thy name is Toni Collette), thought provoking, almost too timely, to the point that it felt on the nose… Robert Pattinson was great. Hell, everyone’s great. If you liked Okja, this is like a more refined that.

  A comedy that gets darker, and darker, until you ain’t laughing by the end. About as perfect as it gets with visuals, performances, writing and tone all staggering.

  I'm close with Melanie Toast the screenwriter, and some day (soon I hope) she'll share her gut wrenching story of the Daily Wire manhandling control of her screenplay away from her. Literally a story of men shutting a woman out from her baby.

  But even in the wrong hands...the movie survived. The horror of the premise isn't dampened. The ending still gets you in the feels.

  It's a good lesson in how hard it is to mess up a brilliant script.
