  Tastefully made horror with beautiful visuals. They nailed the aesthetics when it comes to the early 1980s feel, with a deadly serious tone cemented by it being set in the darkest time of winter. I find this film so sad and gripping that I can only watch it every few years, but I love it every time.

  A film that fails on many levels. It doesn’t make an effort to elaborate on any potential themes, and furthermore misses the mark when it comes to the inherent feminist message that should’ve been there. The film looks flat and feels like a TV movie. Just watch the HBO show instead, avoid this film entirely.
