  Disappointing, but still enjoyable.

  Bong Joon Ho has probably had too much creative freedom, or been afraid to make changes to a messy source material.
  I haven’t read the book so I couldn’t say.

  There are too many characters and loose plot threads that leaves me feeling this needed another screenwriting overhaul.

  A tighter edit could’ve saved some jokes, but not the character problems.

  The movie in a nutshell:
  We want you to be a folk singer!
  But I want to be a rock star..

  It’s entertaining enough.
  Chalamets voice work is impressive though.

  Strangely compelling, but structurally messy. New Zealand is stunning as always and the characters mostly work.

  Almost structured as a heist film to keep the viewer engaged, and it succeeds. Filled with shocking, sad and enraging footage of the reality of animals, just like most animal rights documentaries are.

  We all have an obligation to watch what we pay slaughterhouses to do to the pigs we eat.
  Truly heart breaking.

  This film is a must-watch.
