Solaris 1972
This is truly such a complex, beautiful, and haunting film that delves deep into the human psyche. I believe this movie has a focus on false memories, romanticization of the past, and not being present in the moment, nor looking to embrace the reality of the future.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture 1979
Everything about this brought me pure joy. Spock and Kirk reuniting, seeing all of the old crew (including yeoman Janice Rand!), and the tie in to our own past made for a fantastic revival of our beloved TOS Star Trek.
